A New Way to Learn About Your Community's HistoryWelcome! The Chatham Historical Society was established in 1963 and is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sharing knowledge about our community's extraordinarily rich but not always evident history.
Our blog intends to provide information to the public about the Chatham Historical Society's activities and programs and the changing content of exhibits on display in the Society's 1840 one- room school house and newly opened museum, both located on Bevin Boulevard.

I am writing from Cocoa Beach Florida and I am wondering if anyone has the 1748-1898 East Hampton Congregational Church 150th Anniversary book? My ancestor Nathaniel Mott is apparently mentioned at least once...but I am hoping there is more information than his date of death. Does it say where he was buried? Does it mention any of his family?
